Photonyx include a number of palettes to
help you edit images. They are like dialog boxes that gather most of the commands that you
can also reach through the commmands menu and offer clickable shortcuts for all the
objects and tools whitin Photonyx.
To display palettes do the followimg : View > Palette >
"Name of Palette to display".
When a palette is already visible or docked in the palettes dock, doing this command
once again closes the selected palette
Anyway, if you need more
space because you don't want to spend your time scrolling up or down the palettes dock,
you should collapse the unwanted palettes while still keeping them "one click
away" in the palettes dock.:
Using palettes
- To move a palette :catch the caption bar of it (left-button) and drag it around your
workspace to the place you want (just like a traditionnal window).
- Open or collapse it by clicking on the icon on the top left of the caption bar
By default all the palettes
are open and docked in the Palettes dock. You can easily position a palette on the main
window :
- Right click on the caption bar of the desired palettes and choose Undock.
If you want to undock all open palettes you'd rather use :
- View > Palettes > Undock All
This is useful if you want to
save space by closing the palettes dock or work in full screen mode.
To dock a Palette laying on the workspace
- right-click on its caption bar and choose dock. Even quicker is to
right-click and drag to the Palettes dock.
- Dock all the palettes by choosing : View > Palettes > Dock All
